Comments:I have my Great Grandfathers notebook from WW1, although he was English, he joined the Princess Patricia's in 1914. I have recently sent a copy of his notebook to the PPCLI Museum in Canada, I hope it helps preserve the memory of these very brave men.

Comments: My grandfather was a solider that belonged to the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infanty. He died on May 8, 1915 in the first battle at Ypres. I wasn't born until 1948 but I have pictures of him and a medal that my Grandmother received. Thank you for your service. Sincerely, Meredith Robinson

Comments:I worked at Fort Erie and took part in the first siege there and 3-4 after that. I have a strong interest in the 1812-14 era. I have a question, did the 49th R.O.F have tradesman?Sappers maybe. I'm currently a sheetmetal journeyman in ny an I can bring a vast knowlege to you with the making of lanterns and tinware. Would there be a position with your unit doing this?I need to know where and when you meet so I can make it to a membership meeting.
