Portsmouth: Portsmouth was approved as the Regimental March Past for the 49th Foot following the regiments successful actions as marines aboard Admiral Nelson's flagship during the Battle of Copenhagen.

The Dashing White Sergeant: A popular song from the late 18th/early 19th century.
The Maple Leaf Forever - O'Canada: This is an actual recording from the WW1 period with Robert Price (a popular Canadian singer at the time) and was released by the Victor Talking Machine Co. of Canada in 1927.
Alexander Muir wrote "The Maple Leaf Forever" as Canada's confederation song in 1867; it was regarded as the national song for several decades.
"O Canada" was proclaimed Canada's national anthem on July 1, 1980, 100 years after it was first sung on June 24, 1880.

Lili Marlene: An actual recording of Vera Lynn singing "Lili Marlene". This was a very popular song among the Allied Forces in Africa/Italy, and the BBC would have aired it allowing troops and civilians back home to listen. A German version of the song was also very popular with German troops. It is also the 'Slow March' Regimental March Past of the PPCLI.
Medley - Has Anyone Seen the Colonel/Tipperary/Mademoiselle from Armentieres: This is the Regimental March Past of the PPCLI after WW1. It is a medley of three popular songs from The Great War period.
